Combining a variety of traditional methods of hair removal and colouring techniques, alongside a detailed consultation and precise aftercare advice, every HD Brows treatment is absolutely exclusive to you. By assessing face shape, skin tone and colouring; the Osheen HD Brows stylist will create a bespoke brow to perfectly suit you and your personality.
How often will I need the treatment?
The length of time needed between each treatment depends on how quickly your hair grows and how well your hair holds colour. On average, you will need to return for your next treatment every 4 weeks.
I have over plucked my brows in the past – can I still have the treatment?
Definately! Your stylist may start you on a regrowth programme, training your brows into shape over a course of visits. To speed up your growth and make your brows look great between treatments, your stylist may recommend certain Make Up by HD Brows products that can stimulate growth and disguise patches, making your brows appear full and defined.
Will I get the results I want straight away?
Most people achieve the perfect HD Brows look immediately, however sometimes it may take a few visits for your brows to be perfected.
Can I choose a shape?
Absolutely. Brow shapes are tailored to the individual as they must suit your face and personality. Your brows could be light or dark, thick or thin, sharp or soft. Your input is important to deciding the best shape and look for you, and your stylist will consider your hair growth, look, colouring and face shape when deciding on your brow design.
Why choose Osheen threading?
An Osheen beauty therapist personally ensures your eyebrows are shaped to complement your facial features and provides tips on how to maintain your fantastic eyebrows.
So what exactly is threading?
Threading is an ancient and traditional method of hair removal that originates from Asia, in particular India. It is a skill that is passed down from generation to generation and is employed by Indian women when tidying, styling or shaping their eyebrows and removing any unwanted facial hair.
How does threading work?
The Osheen beauty therapist takes a length of 100% cotton, holding the thread at three points, the two hands and their mouth, they then proceed to twist and roll the thread over the clients face. As the thread intertwines and glides over the skin, the twisting strands pull out the hair from the follicle. It is that simple.
What are the benefits of threading?
There are numerous benefits of threading and it is highly unlikely that a person who has had a traditional threading experience will ever go back to other methods of hair removal. Firstly, the thread that is used is very fine, this means that it is a far more precise technique of hair removal and it lends itself extremely well to the defining of eyebrows and reaching areas of the face that are awkward to get to. Secondly, it is a lot quicker and easier than waxing or tweezing, nor does it damage one’s skin, as the hair is skillfully pulled out from the root, which ensures a slower regrowth of hair, and when it eventually comes back, it is much smoother and softer.
Is threading for everyone?
Yes. As threading is kinder to the skin, even those with very sensitive skin which often cannot be waxed, can have a threading treatment. Individuals using Roaccutane or with very sensitive skin are advised not to have the full face procedure the first time.
How often do I need to come in?
It is dependent on your hair regrowth. Generally, our clients visit us every 3-4 weeks.
Does threading hurt?
Not really, there is only a small prickly, stinging sensation, in the skin as the hair is quickly pulled out. Sometimes the skin can be slightly red and sore, afterwards, this can be treated with some skin lotion or oil which is gently rubbed into the threaded area.
Lash Perfect Treatment
The eyelash extensions come in an extensive range of lengths, thicknesses and curls to achieve a totally bespoke look and feel just for you. A full set will give you a more glamorous look, while a half set will appear more subtle and natural.
Lashes are enhanced by attaching individual synthetic eyelashes to the natural lash, making them appear thicker and longer. The individual lashes are applied using a medical grade adhesive, compliant with all EU regulations and has an allocated ISO number.
The entire treatment lasts between 60-90 minutes during which the clients’ eyes must remain closed until the end of the treatment.
Lash Perfect Aftercare
We recommend you only use Lash Perfect mascara which should be applied to the tips of the lash extensions. Any eye make up can be removed with Lash Perfect oil free make up remover and a Lash Perfect cleansing cloth.
All after care products cane be purchased from your Lash Perfect professional. Waterproof mascara should not be used.
Feel free to rinse your lashes with warm water using the Lash Perfect cleansing cloth and pat them dry gently, we do not recommend you use cotton wool.
We recommend you return to your Lash Perfect professional every 10-14 days to check your lashes and replace any lashes that may have fallen out.
Lash Perfect clear finishing glaze will give your lashes a light gloss while the brushing will keep lashes groomed. Finishing glaze can be used regularly througout the lifetime of your lashes.
There are between 50-100 lashes applied to each eye. It is normal to experience the loss of a few lashes during the first 24 hours while the adhesive is setting. Care should be taken during this period.
Avoid getting your lashes wet within the first 24 hours after application. Avoid saunas and steam for the first 2 days.
Do not pull the eyelash extensions off. You should contact your Lash Perfect professional to have your eyelash extensions gently removed. The procedure is easy and will not affect your own lashes.
Lash Perfect lash extensions should not be permed or tinted. If you require an eyelash tint, this
should be done before application.
Eyelash curlers should not be used. You should also not pick, pull or rub your lashes.
Waterproof mascara should not be used.
If you have any questions about your lashes please contact your Lash Perfect professional.
Take care when using your normal skin care products as they may contain oil.
Gently groom your new lashes with an eyelash brush or comb.
Maintenance may vary according to you lifestyle or to the length of time your lashes have been on.
If you experience any itching or irritation, contact your Lash Perfect professional immediately.
Your lashes should look full for the first 10-14 days without the need for maintenance.
As your natural lash cycle begins to shed your lashes will start to look less full. This is the time when you should book a 15-30 minute maintenance session.
If you have chosen not to maintain your lashes, you will see your Lash Perfect eyelash extensions becoming more spaced and you need to use mascara to give your eyes more impact. If you have maintained your lashes on week 2, then the extra lashes attached will maintain a fuller effect. However, the lashes that were applied 3 weeks ago will continue to fall naturally as part of your hair growth cycle.
Towards the end of this week you will need a full one hour maintenance or a new set. If you have not had maintenance then your set of lashes will be almost gone.
